Collard Green Express Cookbook

C.L.A.E.R. has set the goal of raising 200.00 per day everyday next week.
The C.L.A.E.R. Project is proud to announce the introduction of the "COLLARD GREEN EXPRESS" cookbook! We have been working on this book for over a year, and it is finally available for purchase! Please call 415-333-3017 to place an order.
ABOUT THE COLLARD GREEN EXPRESS:
Every other week the C.L.A.E.R. Project holds the "Collard Green Express" at their 170 Brookdale "Careers Plus" economic development center. The "Collard Green Express" is a flea market and collard green distribution, but, more importantly, a way to disseminate information to the community. C.L.A.E.R. informs public housing residents of recent HUD policy changes, news on the upcoming rebuild of Sunnydale public housing, and different community meetings in the neighborhood.
C.L.A.E.R. also recognizes the healthy and sustainable value of collard greens, and hopes this recipe book will encourage a new generation to enjoy the wonderful experience of cooking a meal with collard greens, and sharing it with those you love.
C.L.A.E.R. wishes to thank the Garden Project, under the leadership Cathrine Sneed and San Francisco Sheriff Michael Hennessey, for producing our weekly greens, and for continually supporting our work. This project couldn't have been done without your ongoing support.
Shareka Powell and Cheryl Jackson were also integral in the creation of this book. We thank them for their contributions.
C.L.A.E.R. also thanks Officer Murphy, and dedicates this recipe book, "The Collard Green Express" to him. His suggestion that we use collard greens as a way to promote health and family shows the subtle, and special, nuances of partnership.
Thank you, and enjoy!
Gender Based Violence
As the economy worsens, we are seeing an increase in gender-based violence in San Francisco, and throughout the world.
Please take a look at this article and continue to support CLAER's work as we attempt to eradicate street violence and violence in the home.
